Artist Statement
" Meeting new people and exploring new places is one of my favorite past times. I believe , as an artist, you absorb the world around you. I am drivin continually to persue quality and excellence in all aspects of my work - art is about creating something timeless that brings joy or inspiration to society and that's what I strive to accomplish."
About
Lorraine was born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe: She moved to Toronto, Canada when she was 18 to study Traditional Animation and 3D. After 4 intense years she graduated with multiple honors and two Diplomas. It was during this time she met some of the Animation and Gaming Industry leaders which further inspired her to grow as a artist.
She returned to Africa where she worked as an Illustrator, concept artist, 3D Modeler, compositor and teacher.
As political instability in Zimbabwe grew she made the move to Argentina where she lived for two and a half years. She is currently residing in Capetown, South Africa, where she continues to hone her craft.
